I'm working on a Seeburg SMC-1, from 1978. This machine uses the MCU
system.

I believe the memory on the computer is corrupt. When I got the
machine, I found that the ancient C-cell batteries had corroded the
connector. I replaced these with a AA battery pack -- but of course
the memory had already lost its power years ago.

The computer works, but there are some odd things. The credits
display shows "garbage" characters sometimes, and never counts down to
zero. More importantly, the selection memory seems to have a
problem. The mech stops and plays selections seemingly at random.

I'm aware that I could have other problems here, but does anyone know
a way to do a "factory restore" on the MCU computer?
