I went out on a service call to repair a persons model "C". The problem is that nothing happens when you make a selection. When I got there they had turned it on in the morning to see if it was still bad. It was. I could smell the motor when I entered the room. It was so hot I couldn't touch it. I could turn the coupler and shaft so I know the motor isn't locked up. Am I right in saying that I should replace the motor or could it be the motor capacitor also. The customer is about 60 miles away from me so when I go back I want it to work when I'm done. Am I right in saying that I need a motor from a early Seeburg so that it runs at 45 rpm. I don't want a motor from a LPC that had the 33 1/3 option as it will run at 33 1/3? Let me know what you think and if you might have a used motor and cap for me. Thanks, Tim
