My father ran a party store on the east side of Detroit in the late '50s-early '60s. As a child, I remember a scale mock-up of a wishing well, complete with running water over a plastic bucketful of fake brown beer bottles with shiny labels. Everything was made of plastic. The well sides were red brick (if I remember right) and the top part was wood, including the handle and shingles on the roof over the well. There was also fake greenery wrapped around the posts and roof. It might've been 4 feet tall altogether. Darned if I can remember what beer it was for, local or not. Thought it might be Schlitz or Bud, maybe Falstaff, but not 100% sure. I've never been able to verify anything about this piece. Anyone have any info or thoughts on this? I would love to buy this if I could prove it existed! Much appreciated!
