Stay away from this dealer (gallery owner)

Johann's Art Gallery on Ebay. Been trying for a week now to get
answers to my questions. NEVER responds. Wanted to buy a painting
and apparently because I didn't hit the reserve, I guess my questions
don't deserved to be answered? Well, I WAS going to up my 250.00 bid,
but screw that.

Sorry had to vent. Not only that, but though the artwork is gorgeous
there, I started doing research on the artists listed. The couple I
did type in are not only "unlisted" artists, but neither had web
sites, gallery exhibitions, past sales (other than Ebay and this
seller selling them). Furthermore, I tried finding a web site of
"Johann's Art" or "Johann's Art Gallery" and NOTHING. The couple
promising pages turned up blank.

The only reference I found to the address was for a "used/Vintage"
clothing store (at that apartment/suite or room number).

Stay clear; it's shady (also private bidders so you can't tell others
about him or ask questions of the two neutrals he got or the negative
he got).
