Roger
I informed my wife of some of Roger's/Not Roger's posts of the last
twenty-four hours during our ride home this evening. The one he posted
(as me) on alt.west-virginia bothered her enough that she insisted that
we pay Wiseman a visit to discuss the material he is posting.
We parked our car in front of his home at 6:25 PM. It wasn't quite
dark, but the living room lights were on. My wife rang the bell and
there was no response. She rang again and we heard footsteps crossing
the room. The light shining through the peephole in the door
extinguished as Roger peered out, but the door didn't open. He moved
away from the door and the light from the living room shone through the
peephole again. My wife rang the bell again and said, "Coward" loud
enough for anyone inside to have heard. We stood on the porch for
another few moments and returned to the car. Neither Roger nor his
imaginary friend appeared.
It seems that the unbalanced UnWiseman isn't the bold, fearless type he
portrays in his Usenet filth postings.
Roger is a humbug.
