A good place to start would be the system logs from my last three programs.

Just write lots of bad COBOL -- sooner or later you'll get all of them ;-)

Seriously, though, runtime errors are quite often system-dependent. I can
point you to the IBM mainframe manuals, but those won't do you any good at
all if you're not running on an IBM mainframe and/or you're not on the
same system level I'm on.
