Celluloid Girdles

I challenge anyone to top this list (women in movies in girdles), I am
certain that nobody can match my naming of 5 celluloid girdles.
Well sorry to disappoint you John but here goes:
I was struck by the “girdles” scene listings some have stated that they
are not easy or extremely rare to find in mainstream movies. That is
correct, they are not easy to find, but since I am a movie buff and since
we all share a common interest here are some scenes you may enjoy, listed
by garment of course:
Girdles:
“National Lampoon’s Animal House”, The scene where John Belushi climbs up
a ladder to enjoy the view of college girls in 60’s Lingerie. Run the
whole scene in slow motion and you will be treated to a stunning brunette
in a tight panty girdle.
“The Women” (1939) a great looking blond models a step-in girdle for these
very rich and sophisticated women.
Model Wife (1940’s) I may be wrong on this one, or may have it confused
with another movie but as I recall Joan Blondell looks great while she
models a 1940’s girdle.
“Elvira Mistress of the Night (The Movie)” a spell goes haywire turning a
church picnic into a sex orgy older women in panty girdles chase after the
males. The women are not very attractive.
“The Rose Tattoo” Anna Magnani tries and fails to squeeze into a step-in
girdle and
girdle corset.
“The Happy Ending”, A boring movie about marriage, while these women
lament on just what lengths a women has to go through too keep the men in
their life happy, an overweight women changes into a panty girdle in the
background you really have to look closely.
“Cyndy Lauper in Paris” Concert Video, Just think Madonna takes off her
robe at the Cannes Film Festival in the early 90’s revealing a panty
girdle and causes a fashion and media sensation. Poor Cyndy Lauper rips
off her skirt during a concert video in the early 80’s revealing a step-in
girdle and barely makes a wave. I guess timing is everything.
Lastly my all time favorite “The Two Jakes” probably the hottest girdle
scene of all time, in mainstream movies today, Madeleine Stowe really
knows how to show off a girdle.
Corsets:
As for corsets they are by far the most common form of lingerie in movies.
Just about any movie set in the 19th century i.e. Western, Victorian
Drama, features a corset or a lacing scene. Here are my favorites.
Check out “House of Wax”(1953) where Carolyn Jones who would latter play
TV’s Morticia Addams in the Addams family, gets laced into a corset by
Phyllis Kirk. This was not acting, Carolyn Jones winces at least three
times, I’m positive this was not in the script.
“Swan in Love” Even the Video box it comes wrapped in features a women in
a corset very nice shots of Victorian corsets and one sex scene.
“The First Traveling Saleslady, this movie is with a doubt a corset
fetishes wet dream. The movie begins with a lacing scene and even features
a full length production number of women dancing and singing about how
tight their corsets are.
McLintock! Proves the case as to why corsets are so sexy, if they can make
a middle age actress, (Maureen O’Hara), look good well just what more do
I have to say. I loved it when Maureen O’Hara ran through the town
stripped to her corsets. Her petticoats become transparent when gets wet
and that spanking scene.
Corsets in the 20th Century
And for something really hot rent the “Millionairess” with Sophia Loren.
There is a scene with Peter Sellers who plays a doctor, the Millionairess
confronts him in his office and strips down to this extremely tight black
corset-girdle to intimidate him. This scene will melt your VCR as she
leans back and moans “examine me thoroughly”.
“Exit to Eden” Rosie O’Donnell not only looks great in a corset but proves
to have great legs as well, very nice.
Pantyhose:
Now Pantyhose scenes are extremely rare in mainstream movies it’s as if
they don’t exist at all. I can only recall two movies in which they
appear they are :
“Cross my Heart”, not the bra the movie, Annette O’ Toole strips down to
her pantyhose to bed Martin Short, very hot. “Barefoot in the Park”,
really not a strip scene in it Jane’s dress unintentionally rides up to
reveal her pantyhose you have to be quick.
If anybody knows of others (mainstream movies only) please let me know I
am still waiting for an actress to appear in control-tops.
The trick is to keep looking John and don't limit yourself to cable TV.

Now now John, don't take the trophy just yet. These are from the top of my
head. I may post dozens more once I search my grey matter!
"The Cat"- a 1950's movie (French) set during the war. There are at least
five long scenes where this lady spy has to pull up her skirt during
the Gestapo questionning. These scenes are extremely erotic and they
are done in B&W.
"My Uncle Antoine" a 1980's Canadian movie set in Québec in the 1950's.
There is one electrifying scene in a General store. The rich lady of the village
mail ordered a corsellette. She goes to a stock room to try it out and
next door peering through a peep hole is a 14 year old. She slowly undresses
(no nudity-very discreet) then pulls on this black beauty with six garters and
side zip. WOW it's hot!
"American Garter" I grant you that this is a XXX but the name says it all
It's set just as the pantihose is being introduced. There are lots of all kinds
of girdles- side zip, panty girdles all-in-ones long line bras. It's a scorcher
"Brie" soft core version. About a movie starlet in H'Wood. There's at least 3
really good scenes with girdles and stockings. One where she is an understudy
to the star and they rehearse the script in heels hose open bottom
6 garters and a bra. Lasts a long time too.
"Ladies Room" Soory another XXX but the scenes in the 40's and 50's are
great.When the girls prey on a poor serviceman, the guy doesn't stand a
chance. One has this really awesome 1940's lace up garment
that's just a little too big for her. It's very hot.
"Fernandel" This was a great French comedian of the 1950's. Sorta equivalent
to the British Carry On gang. There is one where he is a Paris designer.
The day of his show you go backstage where the models dress. It's
very good. His wife gets wind of what he's doing and visits him.
She does a sexy strip tease to a black 6 gartered all-in-one. Whew!
