Worthy of contemplation.
Yeah, what a waste of paint.
The Sephirah (numbers or sequences) of the "Tree of Life" are usually
arranged in three columns. This arrangement, placed in linear form,
becomes:
1st Sephirah - Kether, Crown. (Center)
(Corresponds with Scientology's "Static," "Native State,"
"Knowingness.")
2nd, Chokmah, Wisdom. (Facing, to ones right.)
The first "letter" in the expression - manifestation - or "name" -
"Tetragrammaton" - of "God." (Corresponds with "Not Know," also to the
first of the "Four Conditions of Existence," or "As-isness.")
3rd. Binah, Understanding. (Facing, to ones left.)
The second letter in the expression - manifestation - of the "name" or
of "God." Corresponds with Scientology's "Second Condition of
Existence, "Alter-isness." (Alter-as-isness, really.)
Then "the invisible Sephirah" (not counted), Da' ath, Knowledge.
(Center, however not included on the "Tree.")
Da' ath has been described as a "threshold." It is comparable to the
Hindu idea of "Maya."
To have "conquered" Da' ath is to recognize that "knowledge" is an
"illusion," and that, ultimately, "knowledge" is most "valuable"
because it provides the _experience_ of "knowledge" - the _wisdom_
gained from the _experience_ of "knowledge."
That "knowledge" being the "sea of particulars."
Da' ath is also a "place" where glorification of "ego" can occur as an
adept becomes "proud." - as in "the vain sorcerer."
4th, Chesed, Mercy. (Facing, to the right.)
Corresponds with "Space" or "Look." (This is "space" of a "rarefied"
nature, not necessarily "physical universe" space.)
5th, Geburah, Strength. (Facing, to the left.)
Corresponds with "Postulates," and "Action." (Not "postulates" in the
pathetic sense of "postulates in engrams," but rather transcendent
dynamic impulses or direction.)
6th, Tiphareth, Beauty. (Center)
Corresponds with "Identity." (Has been referred to as "Grace ego.")
7th, Netzach, Victory. (Facing to the right.)
Corresponds with "Sensation" and "having had."
8th, Hod, Glory. (Facing, to the left.)
Corresponds with internalizing thought, "Thinking."
9th, Yesod, Foundation. (Center)
Corresponds with what is sometimes called the "animal soul."
10th, Malkuth, The Kingdom. (Center)
Corresponds with the "physical universe" and with "Man" or a "man."
These are a sequence, and have corresondences, which is not,
necessarily, the same as having equivalents.
This is also _very_ incomplete.
Those who have been involved with Scientology may benefit from a
further examination of the ideas that were drawn upon by Hubbard.
More later.
Note: Sephirah (sequence or numbers) 4 through 9 constitute the "third
letter" in Tetragrammaton, or "Is-ness."
Sephirah 10 is the "fourth letter," and corresponds with "Not-Isness."
(Also the "physical universe.")
Hubbard attempted to align his many linear scales, and this became a
bit like attempting to force a square peg into a round hole.
It's advisable to ponder - visually - the "Tree" (See URL).
Words, inevitably, fall short.
Words useful for "finding":
Kabbalah, Qabalah, Cabala, Kabala, Crowley, Aleister Crowley, Batra,
Yoga, Yogic, Bliss, Magic, Magick, Regardie, Tetragrammaton.
I may be depositing some links here, in various ways related to the
subject matter.
Here are a few re. Aleister Crowley:
