It was twenty years ago that I took my first Avatar course. Someday I'll sit down and write about my experiences, and all that followed. This post is not about what I expereinced but what I observed in others that I did the course with and what happened to them and the "why" behind their experiences.

Back in 2000 my daughter introduced me to the Internet. Who knew that 14 years later it would be such an integral part of almost everyone's life. (Yes I know a few oldsters who function just fine without it). Back in 2000, one of the first searches I did was on Avatar, and sure enough there was a message board with a few Avatars posting. One of those posters contacted me through email and told me about another message board. I was thrilled to finally meet up with some like minded individuals and I was hoping to finally get the question answered that had bothered me since doing the course.

Now I had many questions from doing the course but through reading and talking with a neighbor who had been on an enlightenment path since his 20's I had most of them answered, except the question, "Why did the other participants on my course end up in a worse condition (or have what they were so not wanting to have happen, happen).

Now maybe I labeled things wrong, but when your goal is to create a loving relationship with your "live-in girlfriend of four years" and she ends up dumping you a couple months later, or when you're creating to be healthy and there's a freak accident in which you fall and end up flat on your back for months. And then there were the other participants who wanted wealth and ended up on welfare and/or low-income housing.

So I think you can understand my relunctance to suggest the Avatar course to any of my friends or family having observed experiences such as these.

So once I got the emails from the other individuals on the message boards I started asking my question. "Why did everyone on my course end up in a worse condition?" The most often reply was, "I don't know, the techniques should work"

Eventually I gave up asking. And then when I least expected it the answer came.

I was listening to Kristen Howe of "Go Big". She said she often gets asked why after doing everything they've been told to do often a person isn't experiencing that change they were working on. Kristen says she has found that when a person is coming from a negative place, such as fear, lack and scarcity that is when
you don't get the results you wanted.

In looking at all the "primaries" the other participants of my course were working on it is very likely that they were trying to create from a place of negativity.

The obvious question is, "Does Avatar address this?" If so, where?

If it's in running secondaries, then how effective is this?
