There are many different styles of circumcision. In practical terms there is very little difference among them, provided enough foreskin is removed to eliminate the characteristic odor, which most people find very offensive.
If resistance to HIV infection is a consideration, note that the primary portal of sexual transmission to uncircumcised men is the array of Langerhans cells on the inside of the foreskin. Uncircumcised men are significantly more likely to become infected for this reason. Complete foreskin removal is thus advisable.
Franky I think you would be better advised to have a routine circumcision than to pursue unusual styles performed by isolated doctors with unknown risks of error, complication, or dissatisfaction.
