Super high cut?

I am considering getting cut. During my research, I have come across a
style that looks very interesting: The cut is placed as close to the
root of the penis as possible, leaving the shaft covered with what
used to be foreskin, while an appropriate amount of shaft skin is
removed.

This does not seem to be very common. I have found very little
information, but there is one surgeon who offers the procedure:

Does anyone have any experience with this?

This particular surgeon is too far away for me. How and where would I
look for someone capable of performing this procedure? A plastic /
cosmetic surgeon, maybe?

Have never heard of this procedure. At the same time, please don't make the safest and most common cut in all of medicine more difficult than it has to be. Simply go for a Routine circumcision, and finally come join the human race! eh Where may I ask are you having your circumcision performed? If it's in some Third World country, I would suggest shlepping over the pond to the US. I would not trust your foreskinned shlong to just any physician. -D, "The village magician he was there. There are many different styles of circumcision. In practical terms there is very little difference among them, provided enough foreskin is removed to eliminate the characteristic odor, which most people find very offensive.

If resistance to HIV infection is a consideration, note that the primary portal of sexual transmission to uncircumcised men is the array of Langerhans cells on the inside of the foreskin. Uncircumcised men are significantly more likely to become infected for this reason. Complete foreskin removal is thus advisable.

Franky I think you would be better advised to have a routine circumcision than to pursue unusual styles performed by isolated doctors with unknown risks of error, complication, or dissatisfaction.

Totally agree. Its almost impossible to do a circumcision thats worse than an uncut cock.

I agree with previous contributors, in practical terms i don't think it matters much what style the circ is. i got circed in my early twenties and didn't even know there were "styles". Just asked to be circed and it was done. Foreskin was gone and since then the diff in hygiene is like night and day, and and sex esp oral sex is much better. I never saw the point of foreskins to tell the truth, to me it was just a damn nuisance.
