Horrified at how popular anti-circ mentality is among my generation

It seems kind of pointless to post here since no one posts on Usenet these days, but fuck it. This seems like the only place on the internet that doesn't worship foreskin and I need to vent badly.


I've spent pretty much all my life not giving a shit about circumcision. It wasn't until a few months ago I decided to research the topic. Mostly because an anti-circ friend of mine wouldn't stop banging on about the subject and I wanted to read more about some of the more wild claims she was suggesting.

What did I learn? Holy shit is she wrong. Furthermore, the amount of foreskin propaganda on the internet is insane. Shit, anti-circ people themselves are at best emotionally charged idiots (like my friend) and at worst complete fucking liars.

My studying and research on circumcision has lead me to become 100% pro-circ, yet I can't say anything due to the rampant anti-circ view that pretty much almost all people my age seem to have. What's even more insane is that my generation is general fine with things like hair-lip removal, braces, etc., but suddenly when it comes to foreskin they screech about how NOW parents making medical decisions for their children is wrong.

The moral argument against circumcision is pure bullshit. Parents are responsible for making choices for their infants and children as they are not mentally developed enough to make their own medical decisions. I think deep down, the majority of anti-circ people know this, which is why they then proceed to worship bullshit "studies" written by people who are considered a laughing stock in the science community about how foreskin IS LITERALLY THE PENIS EQUIVALENT TO THE CLITORIS AND THAT HUNDREDS OF BABIES DIE FROM CIRC EVERY YEAR MAN.

It's also disgusting how anti-circs will go own about how pro-circ people don't care about the men who have suffered from botched circumcisions, yet are completely silent when it comes to men who suffer from foreskin problems (which are far more common than circ complications). Or worse, if a guy had to get circumcised for medical reasons, they just downplay his issues with a "At least you had a choice" line. IT'S NOT A FUCKING CHOICE IF YOU HAD TO GET IT DONE FOR MEDICAL REASONS. God, and that's not even considering the people who think foreskin problems only occur from "forced retraction" and that creams cure everything.

And don't even get me started on fucking MRAs. They literally think the only reason science supports circumcision is because of a conspiracy against men. Somehow, it never gets through their thick skulls, that maybe, just maybe, these scientists and medical associations who support circumcision are doing it because they care about men and not because they're evil misandrists? Shit, I'd argue wanting men to be at a higher risk for penile cancer, HIV, phimosis, and balanitis just so one's ego can't be crushed fits in far more with the definition of misandry.


But yeah, that's pretty much my rant. I doubt I'll post more on here seeing as there's next to no people on here. I just needed to let my feelings out, and given how trying to have a discussion with anti-circ people is like talking to a brick wall, it's pointless to to try and explain my findings to my friend. I can only hope that my generation stops being so stupid with this subject.

Things aren't as bad as they seem. The foreskin worship websites are all "moderated' -- that is, censored --so you don't find much common sense about circumcision there. They represent only a handful of neurotics. Most people are quite sensible about circumcision. Almost 40 percent of people on earth are circumcised, after all. People do it for a reason. The reason being, basically, that people just have a very strong dislike of uncircumcised penises.

Yes complete nonsense about non existent "erotogenic sensors" etc on the foreskin which are undetectable to science and which the foreskin worshippers can't even give a biological name to. Complete nonsense about almost 200 US deaths annually from circumcision -- when such deaths are practically unknown. It's the most common surgery on earth and probably the safest. Damn right They don't want to know about the millions who have died of HIV contracted via foreskins. Or all the other problems like the disgusting stink, the pain so many guys have just retracting their foreskins, etc. If you want to confront your friend about this check out the thread on this site called "Why do foreskins smell even after washing?" It contains a lot of amazing material including extensive quotes from dozens of guys about how they cant get of the stink, how their uncut penis cause them pain, and all kinds of other problems like splattering piss all over the floor because they can't aim straight with a foreskin hanging off their dick. You will have great fun reading some of this to your friend who of course is oblivious to it...foreskin worship sites never mention how they stink or all the medical problems they give like cracking and bleeding from diabetes etc etc etc etc

Those sites are mostly controlled by a group of gay foreskin fetishists. They copy the identical pseudo science from each others sites. They censor any research to prove HIV -foreskin link, and anything about foreskin pain, and they never allow discussion of hygiene problems (which is the main reason for circumcision). These men masquarade as doctors or mothers or nurses to protect their fetish.

In Scandinavian countries there is very strong feeling against circumcision. Sometimes laws are proposed to make circumcision illegal but we have muslim populations and they cry "Islamophobia" so nothing happens.

I could not agree more. You have really summed up all the issues well.
I would just say that I don't think the madness about circumcision is as widespread as you think. This and other "politically correct`" bullshit is believed by a tiny fraction of the population. They just make a lot of noise inside their own echo chamber and convince themselves that their views are widespread... whether it is anti circumcision, defund the police, open borders for immigrants, deny free speech to anyone who disagrees with them etc.They are just pathetic bigots.
