Had my first and I am sure last uncircumcised man at the weekend. The
smell nearly made me sick. This from a man who assured me he was
"always very clean down there". I don't understand why circumcision
is even an issue. So disgusting.

Tell me about it! I was married to one without knowing any better. I't only when I had a relationship with a circumcised man that I discovered how attractive a penis can be. I still shudder when I think how my ex wanted me to perform oral on that thing with smelly skin hanging off it. Yes showering did make a difference... but not enough of a difference, there was always some stink left. Any time I meet a woman who says she doesn't want to circumcise her sons, I know she doesn't have personal experience of circumcised v. uncircumcised.

I worked in two Latin American countries where men are not circumcised (Bolivia and Honduras). In both the idea of sucking a penis was "sucio" which means disgusting. Gay or straight it just doesn't happen so far as I could see. Even straight guys don't even want to talk about it, all they talk about is fucking (vaginal or anal). I went with a total of four uncut men before I gave up on that completely. Their penises all stank even after showering. At least they didn't expect to be sucked thank God. Uncut is so damn ugly too. Looks like an elephant trunk or something. I was glad to get back to the USA to resume a normal sex life. I've never heard a single reason why circumcision shouldn't be automatic. Who are these foreskin lover people anyway? I suspect a lot of it is circumcised straight men who think they might be missing something but have no idea how lucky they are.

Agree they are disgusting and it's not just the smell, it's the look and feel of it. How you are sposed to suck on something with a string of skin hanging off the end or bunched up in wrinkles around the head I don't know and I don't know anybody who does.

I must admit I always had a prejudice against them though to tell the truth I never got close enough to smell one. I was in British boarding schools in the 1950s, single sex, and there was a lot of sexual carrying on among the boys. I wouldn't call it homoesexual really, it was just in the absence of girls. Usually it was just jerking off in a circle but sometimes mutual masturbation and sometimes buggery and sucking off although that was quite unusual. Anyway most of the boys were circumcised and made fun of those who were not, with remarks about how their cocks looked like worms or snakes or smelled awful. It was an absolute rule that nobody would suck off an uncircumcised boy because it was thought rude or dirty. Once one boy tried to pull back the foreskin of an uncircumcised boy and he cried out and started bleeding which caused quite a stir. We were shocked and had no idea why it happened and only years later I found that the foreskin starts off adhering to the penis and separates gradually. One uncircumcised boy who was expert at sucking later became a very conservative judge with three daughters which just goes to show it was mostly a phase we were passing through. I had my son circumcised and never gave it much thought other than discussing it with my wife and some of her women friends.
