SCRIPTURE IDENTIFIES SATAN AS THE BEAST

Throughout the Word of God, the term "beast" is used in all its
forms: both literal and metaphorical. The Student of God's Word
who loves Truth, and is Noble (Acts 17:11-12) will examine the
scripture to learn for him/her self how God has used this word.

First, in general (not speaking of a specific, named beast), a
Goat is a Beast. A little more specifically, a Cow is a Clean
Beast while a camel is an Unclean Beast. A serpent; and that
whole species of related animals; like alligators and Dragons,
are unclean. A dragon, any dragon, is a beast, and more
specifically, an unclean beast.

Throughout the Bible, there are about (depending on
version/translation) 180 references to "Beast"), and of these
there are 48 in the New Testament.

Luke 10:34 is most likely a donkey, and Acts 28:4-5 is certainly
a serpent, distant relative to the dragon. Heb 12:20 is a
reference to Ex 19:13.

The Remaining 45 references to "beast" are in Revelation, with 10
in Chapter 13 and 8 in Chapter 17.

I have examined every one of these 45 references, and I
absolutely insist that the reader do this for him or her self. If
you will not examine the scripture to see if these things be
true, then you make yourself a blind sheep to be lead to the
slaughter by false prophets. Acts 17:11-12.

Two of the references are of particular interest. The one being
in Revelation 19:20; "And the beast was taken, and with him the
false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he
deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them
that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake
of fire burning with brimstone."

We want to identify this beast, and in order to do so we must
both ask the Lord for understanding (James 1:5 Dan 12:4, 9-10)
and examine every reference to "beast" to see which gives the
meaning and understanding of this scripture.

Concerning the fact that a dragon is a beast, and that The Dragon
Beast is Satan:

Rev 13:1-15
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw _a beast_ rise
up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his
horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet
were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:
and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast:
and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the
beast? who is able to make war with him?

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and
blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and
two months.

11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he
had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

The term "beast" is used several times in this passage:

v 1. "a beast rise up out of the sea"
This is a nation, not Satan, Satan gives the Nation power to
rule, (and in fact does finally and personally - in the body
prepared for him - rule this nation).

v. 11. "another beast coming up out of the earth"
This beast is the "pope" or head of the End Time Religious
establishment, the False Christ -- as Satan, The BEAST, is the
False God.

v. 4. They worship the Dragon, (which is _a_ beast),
"and they worshiped the beast" is not "they worshiped the
Nation" because

a) 2 Thes 2:4 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that
is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth
in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

b) Rev 13:14-15 Satan demands to be worshiped as "God" and
murders those who refuse
(an aside: this is the cause and beginning of The Tribulation,
Mat 24:15-21.)
v. 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of
those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the
beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should
make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and
did live.

The "image of the beast" is not an image of a Nation, but of the
beast Satan who claims to be God, and,

v. 15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast,
that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as
many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

This "he" is the false Christ (second beast) who is head of the
End Time Religious Establishment, who will command the entire
world to worship the Beast, (Satan, not the nation).

c) Verse four defines Satan as the Beast, the same way 19:19 does:
And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their
armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the
horse, and against his army. It is Satan who makes war against
God and His Christ.

"I saw the beast and the kings of the earth..." Since in this
passage "the beast" is not "the Nations" it is clear that "the
kings" are men, and "the beast" is Satan,

"The nations" (13:1, 19:15) are People, not "beasts."
v. 18 "The flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the
flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that
sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both
small and great. These are Men, the People of "the Nations," not
"beasts."

v. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet
that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them
that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped
his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning
with brimstone.

"The beast was taken" (this is Satan)
"the false prophet (the second beast) that wrought miracles", the
Pope (false Christ) of the End Time Religious establishment.

"Those who received the mark...
"Those who worshiped...

These are all beings, not "beasts." That is, of the three ways
the term beast is used in Rev 13, only the "beast" representing
"the Nation ruled by Satan" (nations are people) was
figurative/symbolic, and the others referred to the False Christ
and the False God, Satan.

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the
beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war
against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. In Rev
20:1-8, Satan is locked into the pit, and then released. In both
Ch 13 and Ch 11 Satan, the beast, makes war against God's People,
the Elect, The Saints, We Who Remain, who are The Church.

and
The Church in the Last Days http://tinyurl.com/mfb9l

Both The Beast (Satan, false 'God') and the Beast (false Christ)
are cast into the lake of fire in Chapter Nineteen. Dan 9:27, Mat
24:29-31, Rev 14:1-5.

Those who love Truth search for it; those who don't love Truth or
those who won't search for Truth, believe the false prophets.
