Happy Raven New Moon (51 minutes ago, at 0500 UTC Jan. 13, 2021).
My latest attempt is described on the thread
“modified two stage assisted shaktipat”
on alt.magick .
Of course it is still a lunar month before Chinese New Year,
so perhaps I am jumping the gun yet again.

But some cultures and some religions celebrate their New Year
not at dark of moon but at the first sign of the waxing crescent.
Is that the case for Chinese New Year?
According to my Oxfam calendar January 14 is Orthodox New Year.
