That don't mean nothin'. Those peaks sit atop
a mile high plateau so they are REALLY only about
six thousand feet high. Mt. Mitchell sits on the flatlands
and is six thousand some odd feet high. No real
difference. Denver is a mile high and it sits on
the plateau. Big fucking deal. A plateau is flat lands.
