Has anyone purchased one of these extended life batteries for their
VX4500? Is the battery life significantly longer? I find the one that
comes with the phone runs down very quickly.

I purchased the extended life battery when I purchased the phone. It holds
a charge very long. Of course your use will vary. Sometimes I shut my
phone down at night. I alternate between the two and never travel without a
spare one in my pocket.
