It really is open, you just have to follow a few rules so if you freak out,
they can shut it down, and remember you're paying for what you use, so make
sure your apps are tight.

Wonder why they're still draggin' their feet? This indicates to me they
are just lip syncing to pressures from big customers (business) and making
noise about opening up the tight-assed ship.
It's not a technology issue because Verizon is just a CDMA-EVDO company
like Alltel and Sprint, not some special proprietary nonsense....once you
get past the stupid Verizon software locking up your laptops so it won't
interconnect laptop wifi with its aircard for networking.
We'll have this discussion again after "the end of 2008" to see how they're
doing.....(c;
