I asked a few of the salesdroids and got different answers, and the websites
didn't say anything either, so I thought I'd ask the folks here.

#1 Anybody know how many pictures the LG VX6000 picturephone can store?

and #2 (sort of related) If pictures can be stored on the phone, can they
then be sent during off hours (after 9PM when it's free) to an email address
that just happens to be my Laptop computer (I have a digital camera now and
store my pix on the laptop, and then archive to CD). Basically I would like
to take pix during the day, and send them to my main computer for archive at
night when calls are free (I have the unlimited nights and weekends)

my understanding is you pay per pic no matter what. unless you have a pic
plan, then you pay $x.xx / month for y# of transfers. unless you buy the
cable & software to transfer directly to pc

Note that the picture quality from the phone will likely be far inferior
to those taken with your dedicated digital camera. Set your expectations
accordingly and plan to trial during the 15 day return period.

In my pic "gallery" on the VX6000 I can store about 20 high resolution
pics before filling up the memory. Also, I too hope the expectations
from buyers are low concerning the quality of the images from the
phone. Images from these phones are not really for printing and
framing. I have the USB to download only because I use them as
backgrounds in mixed media art, etc.
