The phone market is like the PC market: continuously moving.

No matter when you purchase a new PC, within six weeks someone will offer
another one which is more powerful for a lower price. It's been like that
for the last ten years.

The phone market is the same way. With as many vendors as there are for
phones, and with new phones coming out all the time, there's *always* a
better phone a month or so away.

There is indeed a new Touchpoint on the horizon.
I have already seen one and they are pretty cool.
Flip is gone though. Not sure when it will be
available. Will probably be a couple months. We
just received it for testing.

A new touchpoint is coming in the pretty near future. I have already
seen it and it is pretty cool. The one I saw was sans flip, so not sure
if that is final or not. It has a cool new voice memo capability that
will let you record messages that playback instead of a ring for a
certain number. For instance, you could have you phone say "Your wife
is calling" when your wife calls you from a certain number. I would
guess that it is still 2 or 3 months away however.

Saw it at a trade show a couple of months ago. Very nice. As noted,
flip is gone. The new phone has a built in speakerphone. IIRC, much
more interesting color scheme than the ones before it.
