As frustrating as this is, AT&T will ABSOLUTELY NOT tell you monthly usage
except on their nationwide plan. You need to wait until you get the bill!
When you make a change, however, they change the plan retroactively to the
beginning of your billing cycle.
Just put my daughter on the UNLIMITED N&W plan w/ ATTWS. Yup, N&W STILL
start at 8 PM w/ AT&T. She actually WILL use more than 2000 min N&W per
month!

The way AAP works (in terms of how *4 will give you the information)
is this...
There should be at least 2 fons on your account... The first fon is
what we call the Primary Fon.. The 2nd fon is called the 2nd or
Additional or Baby Subscription... The primary fon is where the actual
computer plan code of the minute package resides on.. Example 500
minutes aap plan... *4 then tells THAT fon that it has 500 minutes and
that is has used 25 minutes (for example).... THEN... say the 2nd-ary
fon dials *4, what it will say is that THAT fon has NO MINUTES and
that it has exceeded the minutes by 50 minutes (for example)... So
what you have to do is just add the 2 fon's usage together and then
subtract them from the plan amount... Example 25+50 used = 75 used...
500 - 75 = 425 available minutes.... And for now that's how it has to
be done!!!
Good Luck.. Hope this helps!

What the website and *4don't tell you is how many minutes are peak and
how many are off peak. I would like to know so I don't have to sit
with my bill and go over each call to determine peak and off peak
usage
A few months ago SPCS made a serious error in my billing. I called
customer service to ask about my peak and off peak usage. The rep and
a supervisor had to go over each call to determine peak and off peak.
They couldn't do it. They finally offered to change my bill to the
amount I would have paid with all calls within my limits. I accepted.
The point is if they are offering to let me share my minutes and
charge me $10/phone to do it then I should be entitled to know how
many peak and off peak minutes I have used.
...And for now that's the way it should be done.

Correct, it is totally indecipherable, even on the family plan, which is
specifically designed for this purpose. Basically once you do add a
phone you have no idea what is going on. Then if you use wireless web
you have even more no idea .
