Is there a way to play a fake white noise sound to make it sound as if
the environment is not conducive for conversation ? Sometimes you
want to hang up the phone as quickly as possible since you do not like
talking to the other person but do not wish to offend them.

There is a gadget called Gotta Go that has 8 pre-recorded noises that you
can play to make it sound like you are needed elsewhere.
Try eBay and email me if you can't find it.

You're welcome. I forgot to mention that the 9th button has a "record your
own sound/message" function.

Most phones don`t give white noise anymore.
They just cut out for a short while,m so speak owrds only half with gaps
and they think that connection is bad before you cut out ;o)
