Hi. Apologies if this has already been asked...

I bought a new face plate for my Nokia 6160. I'm sorry to say that the face
plate did not come with any directions on how to change the faceplate.
Similarly, my manual from Nokia does not contain directions (although I can
almost swear that it did) and the nokiahowto.com web site is similarly void
of any information that I can find.

Can anybody give me some step-by-step directions how to do this? Thanks in
advance for the help.

It's pretty simple.
Tools Needed:
T6 Torx driver (I have gotten away with a really small flathead)
Small Cup to put the screws in.
1) Turn your phone off.
2) Take the battery off.
3) Under the battery you will see 4 little screws, one in each corner.
With your Torx driver carefully take these out.
4) Gently pull the face off. The power button and the speaker will be in
the old face.
Put the power button and the speaker in the new face, if the speaker came
out make sure that it goes back in with the contacts facing you. pull your
number keys out and put them in the new face if it didn't come with any.
5) Put the new face on, screws back in, battery back on and power up.
