The Carphone Warehouse (UK) is offering their own cheap version of
Ericsson's MCA-20.

Has anyone used this? Is its quality as good as the mca-20?

I've got a £70 camera voucher from Orange. The MCA-20's going for around
£120, so I could also get it for about £50. However, the CPW camera is only
£80, so if I could use the voucher with it, I could get if for only £10!

Thanks for that. You wouldn't happen to have any sample images from the CPW
camera, would you?

if u're going to use you're orange voucher... do it NOW.. cause they are
going to stop it... and when u go asking for one from an orange shop..
tell them you've been waiting for it since August and they'll give it to
you otherwise they'll tell you they are out of stock (they'll probably
have like 3 in the back.. but keep it for voucher customer waiting for
it for a long time)... and Orange will now be bundling the T68i with the
Cheaper non original camera in the box.

Absolutely agree with you. The cheaper camera is only worth it (a fifth of
the price) if they accept the voucher

No, the £70 off voucher is only valid for the MCA-20 and needs to be
used at an Orange Shop - CPW will not accept them?

I think they will if the phone came from them?

Why would they do that? It makes no sense whatsoever. FYI stock of the
Communicam is very thin on the ground right now but there is something like
5000 units expected soon.

heheh Luckman had the same trait. He'd be offhand with someone, as in
your first comment, and then make a request for them to change their
behaviour!! Why the feck should they take on board what you have to
say, after your first comment?

Seems to me you don't really want to persuade people to change since
this attitude of yours obviously isn't going to work. I suspect you
simply just want to whine about something.

Sugar... not much chance of them dropping to something more palatable,
like Ł50, any time soon then. :-(

That of course is what Andy T wants,
for people to Care about what he thinks.

Unfortunately for him no one does

Its a shame because when he actually posts relevant stuff he seems to know a
little about the subject matter.

I'd be very surprised if you did, but then there's not just me reading
your posts is there?

And if you don't care what I say, what makes you think that anyone
cares about anything you have to say posting style, especially now
that it comes from someone calling themselves "SAUSAGES"...

Most of the top-post whiners seem to also. It's a shame then that we
both waste time on this argument then, no? Maybe if people learned to
embrace change and other people's preferences, we wouldn't be having
this perpetual argument and we could all post on-topic.

Now wouldn't that be great?

Yeah, killfiles, that's what happens when you realise your argument is
crumbling around your ears... You stick your head in the sand and
pretend people aren't still replying and pointing out the holes in
your argument...

Ironically, this is all about no-one caring about other people's
opinions, such as the one where people whine about posting styles...
Rarely does anyone take it on-board and it seems, rarely does anyone
even reply to it these days..

>Unfortunately for him no one does

<bzzt> Projection your honour! Tell us how you know what *everyone*
thinks in order to have come up with this fatuous comment!

Oh, and I've just *got* to laugh at the pair of you posting to usenet
top-post arguments at a few minutes to 11pm on a Saturday night...
Have you *nothing* better to be doing? Sheesshh....
