Besides the iPhone. Which AT&T phones offer a full keyboard (querty or
glass), WIFI (even without a data plan) and will play youtube videos
over 3 or 4g?

Thanks.

The Blackberry Bold 9000 has WiFi, 3G, and a keyboard.
With no data plan, you can reportedly enable the WiFi, but I haven't tried
that.
If you have a non-Blackberry data plan, as I did when I first bought the
Bold, you can use the 3G, but you cannot use the WiFi.

AT&T "shop" web site shows five phones with 3G, WiFi and full keyboard.
That didn't include the iphone. Selecting touch screen instead of full
keyboard shows the iphone a couple of others.

You were able to surf on a blackberry using non-Blackberry data plan?
interesting.

Can anybody confirm WIFI will work on a Bold witout the Data Plan?

I'm also wondering, if AT&T will give me a hard time about dropping
the data plan as I will purchase the phone a discount I suspect
because they are expecting me to carry a Data plan cost.

thanks.

I could use the 3G for surfing with the SIM card and data plan that I had
been using on my Nokia 6126 phone, but I could not use WiFi, even my own at
home. As soon as I added the BlackBerry Data Plan, then I could surf 3G
and WiFi. It does a decent job of toggling between the two, but sometimes
it will continue to use 3G when WiFi is available.

I didn't phrase that very well... My reading of the web page is that you
disable 3G data login, and it will connect to WiFi.

"dropping" would be a different thing than moving a non-BlackBerry SIM into
a BlackBerry. You are "required" to have a BlackBerry Data Plan, although
there doesn't seem to be any recognition of the fact that you might have
moved a SIM from a phone to a BlackBerry.
