I never started using cell phones because they required more agility
and dexterity than I have AND I like the feel of using a traditional
hand set to carry on a conversation with someone. Nor am I interested
in bluetooth devices that are designed for wearing on one's person.

So I'd like to know if there is any equipment/device out there for the
consumer that you can use with your cell phone that does the following:

1. has a larger sized keypad for punching in phone numbers
2. has a tradtional handset for carrying on a conversation - this one
is important to me.

I'm aware of the so-called "retro" handsets. That addresses item 2 in
my list, but I still find cell phone keypads a severe hassle to use in
terms of visibility, readability and dexterity required.

I've seen a device called xLink, something called iG1 (Good Call) and
Link2Cell (Panasonic). Uniden and VTech were also mentioned as
companies that might have useful devices. I don't know yet if they are
actually cell phones or VoIP devices. That could make a difference in
my thoughts.

Thanks,

John

Thanks. I'll check it out.
