SHIPPING INFORMATION
Domestic
For orders of $100 or more, regular shipping to destinations within the
contiguous 48 states (and APOs and FPOs) is FREE!
For orders < $100, regular shipping to destinations within the contiguous 48
states (and APOs and FPOs) is $3.50 per order regardless of the number of CDs
in the order.
Shipping via Air Mail to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto
Rico is $6 for the first 3 CDs, plus $.50 for each additional CD.
Shipping charges for multiple CD and box sets will be adjusted to approximate
the actual number of CDs in the shipment. Here's how we approximate:
Items priced at less than $16 will be counted as 1 CD.
Items at $16 and less than $26 will be counted as 2 CDs.
Items at $26 and less than $36 will be counted as 3 CDs.
Items at $36 and less than $46 will be counted as 4 CDs.
etc..
Please be certain to enter the shipping address correctly. UPS charges $3.50
for address corrections. If UPS charges us for an incorrectly entered address,
these charges will be passed on to you.
Delivery Time
To destinations near Southern California: 1 to 2 weeks
To destinations near the U.S. Midwest: 1.5 to 2.5 weeks
To destinations near the U.S. East Coast: 2 to 3 weeks
To destinations in Canada: above + 1 week
To destinations in Hawaii and Alaska: 1.5 to 2.5 weeks
To destinations in Puerto Rico and USVI: 2 to 3 weeks
To all other international destinations: 2.5 to 3.5 weeks (airmail)
Please add 1 day to each of the above estimates for each holiday (or non-
working day) which falls during the described period.
International
Overseas shipping is available via airmail to all countries and costs $10 for
the first 3 CDs, or fraction thereof, plus $2.50 for each additional CD
beyond the first 3. The following table illustrates the costs:
1 CD - $10 total shipping charge
2 CDs - $10 total shipping charge
3 CDs - $10 total shipping charge
4 CDs - $12.50 total shipping charge
5 CDs - $15 total shipping charge, and so on...
Contact your local authorities for details regarding import taxes. Contact
your local credit card provider for details regarding credit card charges.
MEDIA TYPES ARE SHIPPED SEPARATELY
Compact discs, laser discs and vhs tapes are shipped separately. For example,
if you order 2 CDs, a laser disc and a vhs tape, then you will be shipped three
seprate packages and charged accordingly.
LOCAL PICKUPS
Sorry, we don't allow local pickup of orders (to avoid shipping charges).
UNFILLED ORDERS
We do not backorder. Out-of-stock CDs are cancelled and deleted from the
order that contained them. Customers who pay by credit card will never be
charged for out-of-stock items. Customers who pay by check or money order
will receive a refund check for the unfilled portions of their order.
Since we cannot accurately predict when a given item will be restocked, we
can only advise that if you still want the CD when you are ready to place
another order, you should re-order it then. As long as we continue to list
the CD in our catalog, we believe the CD will be restocked. In general, the
larger labels restock more quickly than the smaller ones, usually within a
few weeks.
Please note that shipping charges will be prorated for orders filled less
than 100% which are shipped via regular or air mail. More precisely, if
your order is shipped via regular shipping, and it is filled less than
100%, the shipping charge will be prorated to the percentage of your order
which is filled. Similarly, if your order is shipped via air mail, and is
filled less than 100%, and 3 or fewer items are shipped, the minimum base
shipping charge will be prorated to the percentage of your order which was
filled.
Payment by Credit Card
If you choose to pay with credit card, then your credit card will not be
charged until your order is ready to be shipped.
Payment by Check or Money Order
All payment must be in $US. Orders paid by personal check will require an
additional 3-4 weeks for clearance. Orders paid by money order will be
processed immediately.
PLEASE BE CERTAIN TO PLACE YOUR ORDERS ACCURATELY. CDS WHICH ARE CANCELLED ARE
SUBJECT TO OUR STANDARD RESTOCKING FEE OF THE GREATER OF $1 OR 10% OF THE
PURCHASE PRICE PER CANCELLED CD. This is necessary to defray expenses we
experience in procuring inventory to satisfy your order, and processing and
returning cancelled items to our suppliers. (For orders paid by check, sale is
final when payment is received.)
