Haven't used it, but WinMount seems to be a standard in thus area.
Daemon Tools used to be the virtual/emulation software (even running
copy protected images). Seems it has gone through some major changes
since 9/06, the last time I checkd, now separated into Pro and Lite
versions.

(CloneCD and Nero also have virtual drives.)

Mike Richter - The Slimiest Lying Friggin SOB (UDF)
===================================================
Mike Richter has been for YEARS blaming the UDF -- to weasel out
the bugs of DirectCD:
-----------------------------------------
Packet writing is the same as UDF
UDF is a fragile format
UDF is an unreliable format
There is an inherent problem in UDF
the format is very fragile and unreliable
The format is bad - it loses data
-----------------------------------------
But then again:

Run the VCdControlTool GUI, click "Driver Control", click "Install Driver",
navigate to the VCdRom.sys file; click "Start", then "OK". Click "Add
Drive" to obtain a drive letter (Z: by default), then click "Mount" and
navigate to your ISO file. Windows Explorer should now see it.
