If you're one of the many millions of folks who always
wet yourself while watching "The Walking Dead," this wish
is for you.
<
Hope the next time you watch it, you're battling a bad
case of diarrhea as well.
<
"Walking Dead" is by far the most distasteful TV production
in the history of History and, if you want a good comparison, Linda
Lovelace's theatrical talent would've been approved unanimously
by the church's Legion of Decency.

<
From a technical standpoint, it's a real bummer. It reminds
me of those B-movies of yesteryear with a lousy dialogue, lousy
acting, a really imbecilic plot and too many absence-of-reality
scenes that even the simplest of heads-up editing would remove.
<
How about the little girl -- about nine or 10 -- carrying a
TEDDY BEAR and then, after lying under a vehicle while
hundreds of zombies pass, smiles as she later crawls out.
Any other kid -- in the real world --would be visibly shaken
and terrified.
<
"Throughout its run, the AMC program 'The Walking Dead'
has featured some of the most graphic and brutally intense
violence and gore imaginable," said Tom Winter, president
of the Parents Television Council (PTC).
<
"In the current season alone the show has depicted
hundreds of scenes of grisly murder both of living and 'undead'
-- but human -- characters.
<
"The intensely violent content has included depictions of
the cleaving of human skulls with a machete, extreme gun violence
including graphic depictions of blood and brains splattering after
gunshot wounds, and the use of a sharpened human bone as
a weapon to stab another character."

<
On Tuesday night, for example, one poor "zombie" was
stabbed in the eye -- several times -- and his pal had his head
smashed, then mashed several times, with a huge rock.
<
What a message for our kids. What a message for the
mentally disturbed. What a message for our violent criminals
who are infesting America worse than cockroaches.
<
A few months ago, Winter made his feelings known
in a letter to former Oregon senator Gordon Smith, who now
serves as chairman on the TV Parental Guidelines Monitoring
Board -- otherwise known as the group that sets the standards
for TV ratings.
<
Don't hold your breathe for anything to improve because
those in charge of TV monitoring have one deaf ear and
can't hear out of the other.
<
I learned that a few months ago when I wrote the FCC
to protest that mother*ucker was spoken at least SIX times
wIthin a 30-40 second span of an episode of "Hardcore Pawn."
<
Unfortunately, I'm STILL waiting for an answer.
