I need new rear tyres for my std elise. My local dealer (a tvr driver)
recommended Marangoni tyres. They are 83.50 for 225/45 W rated, which
I intend to put on the standard 7J rims. Has anyone ever tried
Marangoni tyres?

Yep, I use them on my Fiat 500L Berlinea. Well the car has his 18.5 HP
and is fast as a rocket (close to 60 mph). I have them now for 1.5
year/8-10k kms and they are still good.

But I am not sure about them on my Elise. Never seen them in tyre test.

They are those imported Romanian wheel barrow tyres aren't they ?

Personally I wouldn't touch an unknown brand of tyre, it's just
not worth the risk.
