Two hospitalized after Gwyneth Paltrow pussy candle explodes at Goop store, police say

Two Goop customers were sent to the hospital with burn injuries after a
candle reportedly burst into flames at one of its New York stores.

Police said the incident occurred late last month during a small event
held at the Sag Harbor location on 4 Bay Street. The two men who were
injured told police that candles displayed throughout the store were
allegedly filled with rubbing alcohol, “causing a large explosion,” as the
East Hampton Star first reported in its police log.

Upon arriving on the scene, police said they applied ice packs to the
customers’ wounds. One of them sustained facial burns and was transported
to Stony Brook University Hospital by helicopter, while another had welts
on his ears and back and was taken to Southampton Hospital by ambulance,
per the Star.

Sag Harbor Village Chief of Police Austin McGuire later told People that
he believed the allegedly alcohol-laden candles were intended to be used
for roasting marshmallows after a Goop employee saw the method used on
social media. A spokesperson for Goop confirmed to SFGATE that an
"accidental fire" broke out at the "s'mores station" but denied
allegations that rubbing alcohol in candles caused the accident. (SFGATE
reached out to Sag Harbor Village Police for comment and did not hear back
by time of publication.) Three children in Cheektowaga, New York suffered
similar injuries last month after attempting to make s’mores using a small
tabletop fire pit fueled by rubbing alcohol, which subsequently sprayed
onto them.

A fire extinguisher was reportedly used to smother the flames at the Goop
store, McGuire told People.

"I've been doing this for 26 years and I've seen a lot, but nothing like
this," he said.

The questionable luxury lifestyle brand founded by actor Gwyneth Paltrow
in 2008 operates four other brick-and-mortar locations in Los Angeles and
Montecito, Calif., Hawaii and New York City. The San Francisco store
permanently closed last July after a spokesperson said the company was
shifting its focus to its e-commerce business.

Very misleading Subject. I was under the impression that Gwyneth
Paltrow had her pussy near a candle and there was an explosion. That
can happen if a woman doesn't practice good feminine hygiene. She
looks like that type.
