TOAST- a new arrival!

younger than me) just gave birth to her first son this morning.
Kristian Lukas MacDonald - weighing in at 6 lbs 11 ounces, he's
technically about two weeks early, but quite definitely "cooked".
I took the afternoon off work to go see sis and baby - and was quite
overcome to discover him wearing a knitted baby jacket, knitted by MY
mum who died 15 years ago - it had been one of several she'd knitted
for my other sister's twin girls and she'd held onto them and kept
them good, so they could be passed onto youngest sis for her little one.

(15 years and babies chewing on the sleeves - amazing that the sweater
stayed in such good shape. I know that twins can be harder on their clothes
since one'll chew on the other's hand, sleeve, whatever, is in reach. BTDT
have tried to hid the prints but dad has the negatives hidden better.)

"Kristian Lukas MacDonald" .... Good name for a boy! And I can see
his initials on his baseball glove already, "KLM". Alphabetically in
order, all letters that mean a number in some system or another, the
numerologists can have a field day. (Like one thousand, then fifty,
then one thousand ... that must mean he will make $1,050,000 a year at
some point?)
