Prologue: I'm a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight:
* If you grow up in Hawaii , raised by your grandparents, you're
"exotic,
different."
* Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable.
* Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you're well
grounded.
* If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the
first
black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration
drive
that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional
Law
professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district
with
over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and
Human
Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate
representing a
state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on
the
Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs
committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.
* If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city
council
and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20
months as
the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're
qualified to
become the country's second highest ranking executive.
* If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while
raising 2
beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real
Christian.
* If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your
disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a
Christian.
* If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including
the
proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society.
* If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no
other option in sex education in your state's school system while your
unwed
teen daughter ends up pregnant , you're very responsible.
* If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in
a
prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city
community,
then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values don't
represent
America's.
* If you're husband is nicknamed "First Dude", with at least one DWI
conviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote until
age
25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of
Alaska
from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.
OK, much clearer now.
>If you have charm or charisma you are idolized..if you don't you are the
best thing to come down the pike and are highly electable.

By God!, I think you've got it!

Excellent post, Rudy. Their gratuitous criticisms of Sarah Palins
experience are designed soley to mask Obama's own total lack of any
experience whatever. Notice that they are not comparing Obama's
experience to McCain's, but rather that of his vice-presidential
pick.
This is really unprecedented in American political history when you
consider that historically little or no attention has been paid to VP
picks. But even beyond this, by any objective measurement, Sarah Palin
has had vastly more executive experience than many past presidential
candidates, and more than most past VP candidates.
These people are acting like they nominated Winston Churchill for
president! Community organizer, indeed! What he did was register
derelicts, dead people, park benches and lamposts to vote under the
auspices of ACORN, one of the most fraudulent political organizations
in the country.
Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a
dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the
revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. - George Orwell
I didn't realize we were electing spouse's to the presidency. That discounts
50% of his arguments.
I also didn't realize Sarah Palin was running against Obama for the
Presidency. That discounts the other 50% of his arguments.

I hope Palin doesn't make Biden cry at the debates.
What are her qualifications again?
Oh yeah, she left a small town in deep debt, and has used her official
powers to harass people who disagreed with her.
If elected, she will go down like spiro the nut did.

No goober her inclusion of a non-elected official into the governing of a
state shows us she is not qualified by thinking or ability to be an
elected official.
Now that you right wing kooks care about integrity or honesty...
If you are affiliated with terrorists, give criminals and racists
churches money, smoke crack & have down-low sex in a limo with Larry
Sinclair, and the ONLY qualification that you have that has not been
taken from someone else is the fact you are black, then you are the
candidate of the liberal Dems.
Give us a break, will ya, Walt? If Obama were, say, a white republican
presidential candidate, you democrats would be howling with unbridled
derision aboout his singular lack of any significant experience or
actual achievment. It would appear cognitive dissonance is a genetic
trait with you socialists.
You aren't aware that Palin would be President when Magoo gets shot by his
wife for banging some lobbyist?
Palin IS running for acceptance to be President.
Are you that stupid?
I hope Palin doesn't make Biden cry at the debates.
-------------------------------------------
I hope Biden doesn't bend her over and look up her ass on camera.
THAT WOULD BE A LAUGH!

You know Obama's more qualified than the last 3 republican administrations
combined.

I smell Limbaugh ass cheese.
she's a piece of ass, you can pile on as much lipstick as you want, but
she's still a piece of ass
intended to lure the hillbillies, and lesbians like you
you know it and I know it, and you know that I know that you know it
ahh, another psychic, hillbilly, know it all prophet ,
you know, looking at you hillbillies record of fucking up everything in
sight for the last 8 years,
I'm wondering how you losers, failures, and world class fuckups can predict
anything with a straight face,
I think you're all talking out of those fat asses
Yeah, right! And Obama's black dick is so far up YOUR ass that it
would take a colectomy to remove it.
Being black IS NOT a qualification.
<snicker>
Really? Maybe you should move your nose from out his ass then, huh?
I'm not the one smelling ass cheese now am I?
<snicker>
So does this mean you have already made your choice for whom to vote?
DCI
No, but the vast majority of Americans don't know the name of the V.P.
running mates. I suspect most registered Democrats are more likely to know
the name of Obama's wife than they are that Joe Biden is running as his
V.P..
On credentials, Obama gets the edge simply because of the prestige of
Senator vs Governor. However, the governor job provides more experience
than a senator whose only experience is in running for president.
Give Palin a 2 week fact finding trip to the mideast and Europe, and she
would match Obama's foreign policy experience.
Better to not compare Palin and Obama, if you are an Obama supporter.
Wrong. A president has to get along with Congress. Obama does. Palan's
record is one of not getting along with her legislator.
>Give Palin a 2 week fact finding trip to the mideast and Europe, and she
>would match Obama's foreign policy experience.
Nonsense. She thinks a war for nothing is "God's work." A trip will not
overcome her inane stupidity and right wing war-mongering.
>Better to not compare Palin and Obama, if you are an Obama supporter.
Better you stop telling right wing lies here.
all those wall street criminals have volumes of credentials too,
the choice is between a republican, part of the little people be damned,
they're human debris,
philosophy
and a democrat part of the everyone is an American and should share in the
wealth philosophy
that's the only choice,
there were people who wanted to keep British rule during the revolutionary
war to,
the liked George III
Oh? How much of that money from fannie & freddie did Obama give back
or share, hmmmm?
Oh yea!
A bible thumping, wolf shooting, menopausal, lipsticked pit bull don't
need no stinking experience.
<snipped remaining frivolous garbage>
Why am I not surprised you completely overlook all the fact in the
factual comparison. Rudy, you're a cowardly little old man with a
huge inferiority complex. And, sadly, an Anarchist-Libertarian who
doesn't know squat.
Branson
*NO* facts in your <scoff> "juxtaposition", you stupid dildo tenant.
why don't you tell us how much he got, and don't lie,
did you notice all the right wing cocksuckers saying Obama got more than
anyone
else, but none of them actually mentioned the amount ?
that was intended for you simple and feeble minded hillbillies
Why am I not surprised you completely overlook the initial factual
post. Troll.
Branson
I never forget a poster, but in your case I'll be glad to make an
exception.
>...and you understood it perfectly <SNIGGER>
McCain got twice as much as Obama did and he's also missed twice as
many votes.

McCain is number one in the Senate in votes missed this session, ahead
of the #2 guy, Tim Johnson, who spent most of the year recovering from
a brain hemorrhage and missed less than 49% of his votes. McCain
otoh, skipped 412 of 643 votes for a missed vote rate this session of
over 64%. Obama is number three missing less than 46% (295 of 643).
Clinton is number four missing 32.2%. Biden is number five missing
30.8%. Chris Dodd 26.6%, Sam Brownback 22.1%, Ted Kennedy 17.9% and
Daniel Inouye 10.6% round out the top ten. Note that except for
Kennedy and Johnson who were both ill this year and Inouye who's been
Hawaii's Senator since 1962, the rest of the top ten all campaigned
for President this year. Not that that's any excuse. McCain never
appeared in public without Joe Lieberman at his side yet the
Democrat-turned-Independent missed only 3.3% of *his* votes. The
average missed vote rate for all members in the Senate of the 110th
Congress is 5.2%.

McCain misses 412 votes, misses 109 of 110 since April.

McCain misses 18% of Congressional votes since 1993.

Hypocrite McSame complains Obama skipped an important Iran vote which
he also skipped.

You're a lying bag of whale shit. You always have been, you always
will be. It's because you're an Asshole.
In those votes which Obama cast, how many did he abstain or vote present?
You're citing votes during a presidential campaign. How many votes did
McCain cast as a percentage before he began campaigning for President?
Wow. 643 votes this session? How does anyone have time to research the
issues and cast informed votes with that many being cast? Or do they just
cast their votes as their party directs them to? Perhaps McCain declares he
isn't a puppet to cast votes as directed by others. If so, that would
explain why he cast fewer votes.
Don't Arabs use one specific hand for wiping their behinds? I wonder which
puppet they are holding in that hand.
