Glad to know that when the DOW gets back to where it was, then you radlibs
will say great, Bush is doing a great job.
Meanwhile i am too busy making tons of $$ in GOOG and SHLD.
Have a nice day inbred while i go shopping for a new speedboat to tow behind
my 1 year old Gas guzzling SUV to the lake for a weekend of nice relaxation
this Memorial Day .

Back to where it was before Bush was elected along with a
nice percentage gain. Maybe! But my guess is that the DOW
will not see numbers as high as they were before Bush took
office for the duration of Bush's two terms!

i don't think pissed is quite the word. I'm pleasantly surprised.

i was distracted and didn't get out of the market before the free fall
last week, now i can get out and recoup a little bit.

down 400, up 200, down 400, up 200, down 400, up 200....

the bottom line is the market is heading down.

The stock market is a gambling game. It is erratic because Republican
fools play it, with hopes going up and down on the latest tidbit of
news. It fleeces the novice investors.

The point is the fundamental facts have not changed. The long term
outlook is bleak with Bush's policies in place.

1. highest deficits ever

2. highest debt ever

3. increased interest rates

4. spurts of hyperinflation

5. worst trade imbalance ever

6. China and Japan hold America's financial balls.

7. oil is running out.

8. Iraq is winning the war.

9. Bush is extending the tax holiday for the rich.

10. car markers and other companies are laying off people and closing
plants.

11. outsourcing is destroying good jobs.

12. Since Bush there has been a net job loss. He is nowhere near even
breaking even with population growth.

13. The Euro threatens to become the new international currency and
petrodollar, ending America's free ride.

14. the dollar has steadily lost value since Bush took office. The
decline stopped temporarily when Bush increased the t-bill interest
rates by 60%.

15. 3 trillion dollars has been embezzled from the Pentagon, and
nobody is paying any attention with all the distractions. That is
almost half the national debt.

Bush crime family lost/embezzled $3 trillion from Pentagon.
Complicit Bush-friendly media keeps mum.

Nobody wants the economy to tank. This "You want the economy to collapse"
line sounds like the old "You want America to be attacked again" response
the extreme right used against anybody who questioned The Moron-In-Chief
when he began exploiting September 11th for personal political gain, which
he began doing even before the smoke stopped coming from the rubble of the
WTC. I'm not falling for it this time and I will not rally around that
stupid, incompetent hump of a president if it does collapse. I will blame
him. I'll be more or less alone but so be it. The simple fact is that this
economy really is in trouble and there are things that are happening that
cannot be "spun" to favor El Presidente. Not that they aren't trying...When
the Dow continually loses hundreds and hundreds of points and holders of US
debt start expressing concern about the irresponsible spending and tax
policies of George W Bush and the Republicans, that matters. To paraphrase
George Orwell, 'Two and two might make five or nine or a hundred and eighty
three on Fox News, CNN and The Rush Limbaugh Show, but there are places in
the basement of The Federal Reserve and The Treasury Department where they
damn well better make four.' All the professional bullshitters right wing
talk radio can muster up cannot change the laws of economics or make debt go
away.

This is the one lesson Republicans forgot when they made the fatal mistake
of believing their own propaganda and bullshit and what has continually
gotten the Bush administration into trouble. It is also the key to what is
slowly destroying them: There is a real world out there where real things
happen and that long-ignored real world will soon be dictating terms to us.

Now, as for the debt itself...
It can and will be paid back and that's where us non-rich people come in.
Taxes will be raised, deductions will be eliminated, benefits and services
will be cut, the IRS and BATF will be sent out into the countryside to raise
money in the most vile, hateful ways imaginable. Since there will be
considerably less federal money available soon, your local police and
government will eventually be writing tickets, fining, assessing dues and
seizing everything they can get their hands on in order to raise money just
to maintain basic services but ultimately it will be to pay for all those
freebies that "Patriot" George W Bush has been doling out. Laws that allow
governments to levy fines and take valuable, resaleable stuff away from us
will be vigorously enforced and probably expanded in the very near future.
We will have genuine inflation because inflation benefits the government by
allowing it to pay back its treasury obligations (that's debt to you and me)
in devalued currency. If today the government issues a $10,000 treasury bond
payable over ten years and ten years from now a loaf of bread costs $10,000
the government isn't paying back anywhere near as much as it borrowed, in
real terms. That's an extreme example, but it's always at work to some
degree and do not believe for a second that people in Washington are
unaware of it. There will be less federal money available for states and
local communities because debt service will soon be hogging up every
available dime, after corporate welfare is taken care of. That's because no
matter what happens or how horribly America gets screwed by Bush policies,
the river of freebies, goodies, kickbacks and things like "fact finding"
trips to places like Bimini courtesy of the US taxpayer will never be
eliminated.

>Despite the crushing debt, Bush just gave oil companies $8,000,000,000 of

It doesn't worry Republicans. They think corporations should be running the
government, and that is exactly what they are being allowed to do.

The big difference between Fascism and Neo-Fascism is the latter
doesn't require a dictatorship. But for that, that's where the
neo-con Administration is taking us, warp speed (and have had plans to
do so since Senior Bush's Administration).
