Alert! Rep. Gutierrez introduces amnesty bill!
With over 15 million Americans out of work, one might think Congress
would focus on this issue. Instead, Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) is
introducing today (Tuesday, December 15th) his "comprehensive"
immigration reform bill.

He previously outlined the components of his amnesty bill--granting
legal status to illegal aliens, increasing the number of immigrant
visas, and reducing wait times for family members of previously
admitted immigrants to gain U.S. residency.

Gutierrez said he was introducing the bill before the holiday recess
so "there is no excuse for inaction in the New Year." Apparently, the
Congressman's Christmas gift to unemployed Americans is the permanent
disappearance of their jobs.

Well said. Minority lawbreakers (aka "lawmakers") are in a frenzy to
sell out the United States to predominantly Hispanic illegal aliens.
These minority "caucuses" in the Congress are loyal mainly to Mexico and
base their decisions on what is good for Latino invaders rather than
what is good for the U.S.A..

WASHINGTON - Hispanic, black, Asian and other House lawmakers
backing immigration overhaul called Tuesday for legalizing illegal
immigrants in the U.S., despite a weakened economy and joblessness.

The coalition of lawmakers said Tuesday immigration reform can
protect American workers as well as bring into the mainstream
economy productive immigrant workers who have lived in the shadows
because of their illegal status.

``For those who say that given the state of our economy, given the
unemployment rate, this is not the time, I would say to you there
is no wrong or right time. There is a moral obligation,'' said Rep.
Lydia Velazquez, D-N.Y., chairwoman of the Congressional Hispanic
Caucus.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., who has become a leader of a
multiethnic coalition of immigration reform backers, said
immigration reform opponents ``will use it as a wedge issue and
will blame everything from unemployment to rising health care costs
on immigrants.''

``The immigrant blame game is constant,'' Gutierrez told a packed
Capitol Hill news conference.

Immigration reform also means tougher penalties for employers who
hire illegal workers, rules requiring foreign investors given U.S.
visas to create jobs in this country, restrictions on hiring of
foreign workers, he said.

Although there has been a report of a better-than-expected increase
in production in the U.S. economy, experts say it remains weak and
recovery continues to be slow.

That has led some to suggest that early next year - as some are
expecting - is not the time to bring up immigration reform and
certainly not to legalize illegal immigrants.

``Illegal immigrants currently occupy 8 million jobs. Those stolen
jobs rightfully belong to citizens and legal immigrants. We could
cut the unemployment rate in half simply by enforcing immigration
laws!'' said Texas Rep. Lamar Smith, the top Republican on the
House Judiciary Committee.

An immigration reform bill proposed by Gutierrez seeks to legalize
undocumented immigrants by requiring them to register with the
federal government, pay a $500 fine for each adult, learn English,
pass background checks and meet other requirements. They then are
eligible for a six-year visa and when that is done a green card.

It contains numerous other proposals.

The bill was unveiled Tuesday, but lawmakers acknowledged the
Senate will vote first. There is some skepticism whether Democrats
will be willing to take up immigration reform early next year so
soon after a tough health care debate and with 2010 elections
gearing up.

``What we are doing is getting ready so when they are done with
their work, we can quickly act,'' Gutierrez said.

I remember an incident that occurred during the Rodney King riots
of '91' in Los Angeles. Two white guys, concerned about the welfare
of a black woman they knew in Long Beach, CA went to check up on
her and were murdered by blacks. No one was ever charged for their
murder.

Some people think that it will revitalize the economy and put a lot of
revenue in the government pockets. Just think, 12 million times a
$1000.00 fine = 12 billion dollars. They'll also start buying houses and
making long-term commitments to the country.

"Hispanics" ARE Black, i.e. Sammy Sosa and many others.
Founders of many parts of the USofA were "mulatto" (part Black,
and more Black than most American Blacks).

Maybe I missed it in my History lessons, but don't recall that Irish
or German immigrants ever claimed that parts of the US belonged to
them. Nor do I recall that either of Ireland or Germany demanded, and
expected, that their emigres would maintain their allegiance to the
home countries first, and the US second. Nor is it the case with
those from Poland, Kenya, Norway, China, Japan, Sweden, Russia, etc,
etc, etc. However we are told that these illegal Mexican immigrants
are no different from previous immigrants. Only an idiot would
believe that. .

There are many Black "Hispanics" when the one drop rule is applied.

Bush was the first to champion a "pathway to citizenship". The
corporate interests that want wage standards driven down are what
makes sure that politicos allow unchecked illegal immigration, and the
proof that the Republicans and Democrats work for the same people is
in the fact that neither of them (the parties anyway, although there
are a few individuals) have any interest in trying to curb illegal
immigration.
