Sorry to post a duplicate post but for some reason I can't find my post I
put up 2 weeks ago. I have been traveling and I haven't read the replies.

Is there a way to control the visiblility of the fist and last elemnt in an
array. I need to use the functionality of an array in conjustion with a
formula but the first and last items are not desired to be visible. I can't
just change the visibility of the first and last off because it is dynamic
and the last item changes depending on a width of another item.

Thanks and sorry of the duplicate post.

Rob,
Can you use "hide/isolate"?

Hide/ Isolate won't help in the print. There is no way to turn off the
first and last so that it doesn't show up in printing that I am aware of.

I thought that was the answer. I have set the array up so the first and
last item are started within the solids that encase the array.

Thanks.

you can use the linework tool to make the first and last objects invisible.
Just choose the "invisible lines" option and then hit tab over the object
until the whole object selects. Click it and it should disappear.

Rob,
What exactly are you trying to array? Can you post a screenshot?

You could, array a series of reference planes as needed, then align and lock
whatever you need to duplicate on all but the first / last reference planes
in your array.

Of course, everything sounds good in theory.

I am trying to array Muntins in a window pane. I have the horizontal and
vertical array changing to the changes in teh window size but I don't want
the first and last muntin visible.

I can't set the visibility or line type because in a dynamic array that
changes with the width the last element is unknown.

Thanks for any help.

I don't see why you make an array and then decide to make the first and last
item invisible. Can't you simply solve this through adding an offset on both
sides of your array? You could calculate the offset distance in a way
similar to the way you calculate the array-number.
