There is just no easier way to create 3D objects than to draw the wire frame
(lines) in the CAD system and let the program interpret that into a 3D
object.
3DPLAN is an application on AutoCAD or IntelliCAD, which also creates the
input file to Povray or 3D faces in a DXF format, to be used by the CAD
system or any other rendering facility that works with the CAD system. The
program creates elevations, plan and sections, perspective or isometric
views as line drawings in the CAD system (hidden line) and all this using
one single toolbar.
Have you ever seen that amount of functionality in such a small and user
friendly application?
Download the Demo which contains a detailed example in the manual from
http://www.spatialgraphics.co.za .
You are welcome to contact me for further info and your feedback will be
appreciated.
