This may be an odd place to put in this request but here goes. We are a
detailing firm currently doing mostly structural detailing on several
"complex" jobs. I was recently approached by the local school district to
see if I could take on a student part time for a work study program. They
would be an entry level person with no experience other than CAD software
training from the school. So I am trying to find someone looking to have
board drawings redrawn into a CAD program. Yes I am aware of all the
scanners software etc.. so it may be tough trying to find this kind of work.
I agreed to look and to get back to the instructor by middle of next week.
School starts here the week of the 28th so I am also in a time crunch to see
if I can find this type of work. The drawings would be checked over by one
of us "older guys" so they would be checked prior to leaving the office. So
if you have any work like this or know of someplace/someone to contact
please let me know. Rates should be quite cheap compared to doing it in
house. Also we (older guys and one girl/lady) will be looking for more
structural in about 3 weeks. We do all structural and misc. We have done
schools, prisons, churches, suspended walkways, and much more. For more
