What is the difference between dxf and dwg. I know that dxf is a 2D data
exchange format. Is dwg something similar?

DXF = Data eXchange Format
DWG = DraWinG Format that is AutoCAD Compatible
DWG = DraWinG Format that is AutoCAD Compatible
