I hava about 10-15 lines & arcs that are not connected but appear
connected. I would like to eventually render this object, but I cannot
because I do not know how to make a surface out of these items.  I am
using AutoCad R13.

Thanks,

Without actually seeing the disposition of the lines and arcs it's a bit
difficult to steer you in the right direction. None the less here are a few
avenues you might travel down ....

For the lines assuming they describe rectangles of one shape or the other
try using the 3DFACE command and follow the prompts. Or; draw a closed
polyline connecting all the endpoints of the lines that describe a given
polygon and convert it to a 2D region using the REGION command.

For the arcs, try using the change/properties/thickness command options.

You could also use the bpoly command to create the closed polyline.
Quicker than drawing one.
