I have got two queries:

1. Does anyone know where to find comprehensive descriptions of the
DXF format on the internet.

2. A few years ago we bought ACAD12 (officially) only for the purpose
of aqcuiring the DXF manual. We have written our own DXF import/export
routines for our NOISEMAPPING/GIS applications based on ACAD12 format,
but we want to move to ACAD14/ACAD2000 format.
What are the options for importing ACAD>12 format.

Thanks in advance,

Richard Schmidt

I am not sure if this is what your looking for.

I have a rather old book (1989) by Dennis N. Jump called "AutoCAD
Programming" which talks about the format a little. You might do a
search for the author on the net. There may be some update information.
