Please don't debatethe last intellicad message as you did so vigorously on the
1st...
I didn't see the previous post before I sent this one.
It would be helpful if you could fill me in on the location of the patches, or
upgrades I was referring to.
I sent away to "Prof Surv" Magazine over two months ago, but haven't heard
back...
Thanks,

You probably want http://www.visio.com/intellicad .

What do you have against debate? I see it as a wonderful way to learn
what really gets others fired up.

I saw the last posting about Intellicad and thought I would try to avoid the
great CAD debate on this one, however I do love to debate...

Thank you all for your info on the patch. It worked, and seemed to double the
speed from release 1.0. Can't wait to see what 1.0d does...

Isn't this a newsgroup for AutoCad?

A good or real CAD operator would have no problem with other cad platforms in a
discussion. If Intellicad is the software being used, then support will be given.
Loosen up.
What's the lost to autocad.

Fair enough James.

I understand what you're saying. Unfortunately I do only know AutoCad.
But does that mean that I'm no good at it - as you seem to be implying?
I look at this NG as a chance to discuss AutoCad, as this is the CAD
software I use. Why aren't Intellicad questions posted to an Intellicad
NG? If there isn't one then maybe someone should start one.... etc..
etc...

Hopefully you understand my point.

Jason,

Since I started this mess by asking to avoid the software debate, I would like
to point out two features...
Intellicad uses the autocad drawing format, and was produced by former Autodesk
programmers. Therefor, I feel Intellicad is a valid topic for discussion on the
alt.cad.autocad NG.

I am new to this group and am here to learn so
what about the users out here that have to work in multiple platforms and
programs? I would love to see postings on other CAD programs as I have to
work in AutoCAD R14 & LT as well as Intellicad and Microstation.
