In my company we use ACAD-Light for producing plots. Therefor we load
geographic data from our GIS into ACADlt. Certain points are handled as BLOCKS
in ACAD.
Now we want these points, consisting of a point and a number ( O nnnn), to be
enlarged without changing there absolute position. Then they would be visible
much better and the numbers would become readable.
Changing the points already in the database is no solution, because they are
used in other applications, where they need to be this small.
The command I am looking for is quite like the command "_scale", but can be
done over all objects in one turn. (whereas "_scale" has to be done for each
object!!).
Following up are the descriptions of the points:

I am a little confused here, a 'point' by definition has no width or
length and therefore cannot be enlarged or scaled --it will always
remain a 'point'.
However, you may try two things, 1.) change the point style and size,
and 2.) since you are dealing with a block, try to redefine the block.
To change the size and style of points on your screen, at the command
prompt type: ddptype. Then select the point style, size (%), and if
you want the size to be absolute or relative to your screen. When you
are finished and you are back at the command prompt, type: regen, for
the change to take effect.
If your 'point' is a block, redefine the block by inserting the block
into the drawing, changing or scaling it the way you want it to appear.
Next, use the command: bmake. In the dialog box, use the same name of
the block you inserted, then pick the item(s) of the block on you
screen, and also the insertion point. After this, the screen will
prompt you if you want to redefine the block, answer 'yes'. At the
command prompt, type: regen, for the change to take effect (be certain
to erase the temporary block you made).
Of course, the AutoCAD LT commands are the same in AutoCAD R12.
