Someone gave me Autodesk AutoCAd Designer release 1.2 and Autodesk AutoCAd
release 13. I don't know anything about these programs. Can someone please
explain what they are and what I can do with them?
Thanks,
Sharon

Sounds like pirated copies of AutoDesk CAD products (Computer
Aided Design) and if they will function after being installed can be
used to draw lines, arcs, circles and other geometric representations
of buildings, machines, and whatever. Doing so however will likely be
a violation of the AutoDesk software license. The versions you have
been given are very very old and generally speaking not worth the
effort to learn given the need to use CAD.

If you need to use CAD on an occassional basis for non-professional
circumstances check out IntelliCAD as it can be acquired free and
supports 3D and rendering as well. SEE: http://www.cadopia.com/
