Mechanical desktop can draw helix. Perhaps Autodesk thinks helix option is
too expensive to provide in ACAD.

Did you know that there are at least 16 ways to enter co ords
in acad:-

One is cylindrical:- rad<bearing,z_height
eg 25<90,10
Put your data into excel and make a script file.
or you could use the old spiral.lsp prog on my site
