I'm looking for software to manage AutoCAD drawing files
over a company network. Would appreciate a response from
anyone who has installed a commercial document management
system for AutoCAD drawing file management.

I use AutoManager Organizer on a Novell network. The windows version is
much better than the DOS version but we all use DOS ACAD r12. Its OK.
If you use windows it is really good.

The techs here only use the file selection and viewing. They don't
generally update the drawing database user fields though.

We utilise Enhancement 1 drawing office manager which conforms to ISO9001
requirements. Our operating system is Novell with a 25 user Autocad base.

We took four years to choose a system that was right for the way we wanted
to operate and the control we wanted to apply, in the last 3 years we have
not found any software yet that could replace what this does.

If you want any further info then please mail, alternatively you can
contact the supplier AI Solutions on 01695 557557 contact Neil Web.

AI are very knowledgeable and are not forcefull sales people.

Good Luck
