I've got about 40 multi layered/multi colored drawings that I want to batch
plot on a color printer in black and white. Using batch plot I'm having
difficulty forcing all these drawings to b/w. I'm new to Autocad 14 (I
previously used autocad 10)
any help would be appreciated
thanks,
Andy

Using 14 select add a printer, and name it something like
"Printer 2 B&W mode", set up as you normally would, now edit the
pens so that they are all #7. Now anytime you want to print B&W
only just select this printer. Note this printer should be a
copy of one that you already have defined with the exception of
the pen assignments.

If you are using an autocad hp printer, there is a button in hpconfig
to print everything b&w. You create a new printer with this setting,
and give it an appropriate name.

In the print dialog box go to "Pen Assignments" and change all pen colors found
in your drawing to #7. This is the color black. This will tell your color
printer to print all lines black.
