Hi,
I'd like to customize some of my *.SHX fonts that I frequently use in ACAD.
Is there an editor program, with which I can manipulate fonts, ie. adding
new symbols. I tried using TTF's, but they seem "heavier" than SHX's
(refreshing is much slower, realtime pan/zoom also)

Thanks in advance,

The Express Tools/Bonus Tools include a SHX generator which will create SHX
data from AutoCAD objects. You would have to manipulate the code numbers
and such, then recompile the file, but that's the *easiest* thing I've seen
for SHX creation.

Re-post if you need some more info.

You need to work on the .SHP (uncompiled = ASCII) version of the font
file. If you only have the .SHX version there are decompilers around.
