after i have drawn a model in 3d, how can i paste this into another existing
drawing. If i caopy it in as normal it is just shown in plan view. Is there
a way og "flattening" the image so i can paste it as a isometric image in an
existing drawing.....
Any help will be gladly appreciated

Thanks in advance

Inserted objects inherit their UCS from the source drawing so, get the
view that you want in the first drawing, set UCS=View then Save. I
assume that the destination drawing has UCS=WCS. The inserted
object(s) will be rotated relative to WCS. If you just want an image
of the original, try Wmfout and Wmfin.

Create a viewport, get your solid to the orientation that you like, select
floating view, type _solprof, select the solid, answer yes to the next three
prompts.
The flattened image is in 3d space, you can copy and paste it in 3d or paper
space.
