I just setup ACAD 2000 LT to work with my Canon BJ-230 11x17 bubble jet
printer. I have it set to automatically load a custom .pc3 file for that
printer.
The only problem is that each time I print I have to
1. Change Plot Area from "Extents" to "Layout".
2. Re center my plot under "Plot Offset" to -.125, .125.

How can I get it to automatically have these settings ready?

Thanks,
Jordan

Aren't those settings stored in the pc3?
I think you should create a pc3 from scratch with your most common settings, and use it.

There's no place in there to input the data I need it to store, and it resets itself everytime I try to print.

Hi Jordan:
Do "File-Page Setup" for each of the drawings you want to plot/print. This
stays with the drawing, and you can chage it at plot time if you want.

Thanks,
But what I need is a global setting that will automatically be used as a
default. Since I always use the same setup it's a real hassle to have to
retype my centering in everytime.

I've noticed the exact same quirk in ACAD R2K. I haven't had the time to play
around and try making a temmplate file to see if that makes a difference.
Either way I doubt a template would solve the problem when opeing existing
files, especially those coming up from R14.

There's more tha one of us intersted in this if someone out there has a
solution.
