Forgive the probable stupidity of this question, but here goes.

I have a rented computer system set up in our company. A draftsman is doing some
work for us on Rev. 12 I believe. I need to take his .dwg files and print them
out on our LaserJet IV connected to our network. The computer he is working on
is isolated and cannot be connected directly to a printer. Is there a printing
utility that will allow me take his files on disk, copy them to my hard drive (my
computer is connected to the network using netware), and print out drafts of them
on the laserjet? I can view them using xtree, but I don't think it will allow me
to print them. Do I need any special printer drivers? Thanks for any help, and
sorry if this was in the FAQ. In a hurry and don't have time to search/dig.

AutoCAD rel 12 prints to a file. You can then copy the file to you printer.
You do not need any special program. The following will print from any
of you networked computers copy "file name" prn Where filename =
the full name of the plot file which will have a ext of .PLT
